The 6 industry anchors which make up the foundation of the Oakland economy include Historic Chinatown, Arts and Entertainment, Healthcare and Education, the Port of Oakland, the Restaurant Renaissance, and the African American Experience, not to mention the commercial might of the international community.  I will immediately bring together partners and stakeholders to meet this moment.
